Elect Frances Rosales
Candidate for Rutherford County School Board - Zone 7

I am running for a Zone 7 seat on the Rutherford County School Board because I care deeply about the education of children.

The future of our children depends on maximizing the power of our community and resources so that every child thrives. This means we must listen to and incorporate the input of teachers, families, and community members when designing district policies. We must support our teachers and staff to do their best work with our children every day, and hold leadership accountable when expectations and projections are not met.

One of my main focuses as a board member will be to help students be career-ready by preparing them for an apprenticeship, vocational school, or college. The variety of needs in todayÅ› workforce is very diverse and it is incumbent on parents and educators to help our children discover their interests and talents. In addition, we must provide learning foundations that will prepare them to enter the world as educated, productive citizens.

While I am running as a Republican candidate, no particular group holds ownership over good ideas. However, we cannot put any divisive or extreme ideology ahead of our children and schools. We must agree to do what’s best for our children and our community. It is imperative that we have a strong public school system that allows students to flourish academically and socially. We are a growing community that needs to address numerous educational issues including zoning, the budget, and curriculum choices.
If you agree with me and are concerned about parental rights, transparency in our school system's curriculum choices, and zoning issues, please stand with me as we take back our voice in our children’s future.

A vote for me, Frances Rosales, is a vote for your children.
